Needed once per direct car booking. Takes about two minutes on your phone.

Your privacy

Your license selfie and insurance photos are used only to verify your identity and coverage. They're kept in a private, encrypted holding area only WhiteCap Rides can access, and are automatically and permanently deleted once your booking is approved or declined (and no later than 7 days). We never sell or share them.

You and every added driver must be at least 21 years old on the first day of the rental.

Insurance requirement: Your personal auto insurance must be active for your whole rental, extend to rental cars, and include at least Florida’s required minimums ($10,000 personal injury protection and $10,000 property damage liability) plus collision and comprehensive coverage for damage to or theft of the car. Proof of insurance is required at booking. You’re responsible for your deductible and for any damage or loss your policy doesn’t cover.

WhiteCap Rides makes the final check by comparing your photos by eye. Your name and date of birth must match the person who signed the car rental agreement.
