Booking

What is the difference between Turo and Book Direct?

Turo (for cars) and Boatsetter or GetMyBoat (for the boat) let you book instantly, and those platforms handle payment and protection plans. Book Direct lets you send a request straight to us. Nothing is charged on our site: we review the request and confirm by email.

How do I contact you?

Email us at whitecaprides@gmail.com or use the chat on this site. For an active booking, message us in the Turo, Boatsetter, or GetMyBoat app.

Cars

How do I book a car?

Find the car on our Turo profile, pick your dates and pickup location, and book through Turo. You will need a Turo account and to meet Turo's driver eligibility requirements.

Is insurance included?

Protection plans are offered and handled by Turo at checkout. Review the plan options and your own coverage on Turo before booking.

Do you deliver to TPA or PIE?

Yes. Delivery to Tampa International (TPA) or St. Pete–Clearwater (PIE) is an additional $40. Exact meeting details are shared through the Turo app after booking.

How do I get the keys?

Pickup is contactless. Each car has a lockbox with the key, hooked onto the driver's window, and you receive the instructions through your Turo booking. Pickup and drop-off are available 24/7.

What is the mileage limit?

200 miles per day are included. Extra miles are $0.29 each, or you can add unlimited mileage for $20 per day.

Can I smoke or vape in the car?

No. Smoking and vaping are strictly banned in all of our cars. If a car smells of smoke, a $150 cleaning fee applies. That is close to the actual cost of professional cleaning, so it simply covers getting the car ready for the next guest.

What if my flight is delayed or lands late?

No problem. Pickup is available 24/7 with our lockbox. Just message us in the Turo app if your plans change.

Can I change or cancel my trip?

Changes and cancellations follow Turo's policies and the cancellation terms shown on the listing.

Who do I contact during my trip?

Use Turo messaging for anything about an active trip. For roadside issues, follow the support options in the Turo app.

The boat

Where do I book?

Book through our listings on Boatsetter or GetMyBoat. Both platforms handle payment, messaging, and trip confirmations.

Is insurance included?

Insurance and protection for boat rentals are handled through the booking platform. Check the coverage details shown on the listing and at checkout.

Do I need a boating license?

No. Every trip comes with one of our USCG-licensed captains, who operates the boat for you.

Can I drive the boat myself?

No. The boat is rented only with a captain. There is no self-drive option.

How many people can come?

Up to 10 people.

Can I smoke or vape on the boat?

No. Smoking and vaping are strictly banned on board. If the boat smells of smoke, a $150 cleaning fee applies, which is close to the actual cost of professional cleaning.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Safety comes first. Weather cancellations and rescheduling follow the policy of the platform you booked on, and we will message you if conditions look unsafe.

Where do we meet?

The exact meeting point is shared through the booking platform after your trip is confirmed.

What should I bring?

Sunscreen, water, a hat, and a valid photo ID. The listing will note anything else you need.
