Each car has a lockbox with the key, hooked onto the driver's window. You get the instructions by email once your booking is confirmed. Late-night and early flights are no problem.
Optional $40 airport delivery
Want it at the airport? Add delivery to Tampa International (TPA) or St. Pete–Clearwater (PIE) for $40 when you book. Airport parking is passed through at cost: Tampa International (TPA) up to $22, St. Pete-Clearwater International (PIE) up to $25, never more.

Car rental questions
How do I book a car?
Tap Instant Book (or Book now on the car you want), pick your days and pickup and return times, tap Book, then finish on one checkout page: add your details, upload your driver's license and insurance, and sign the rental agreement and waivers in one tap. We confirm by email, then send a secure payment link.
Is insurance included?
No. Your own auto insurance must cover rental cars for the whole trip. You upload proof of insurance during driver verification and confirm that it covers rental vehicles. A refundable $150 incidental deposit is also held on your card (not charged) and released after your trip ends and the car is inspected.
Do you deliver to TPA or PIE?
Yes. Delivery to Tampa International (TPA) or St. Pete–Clearwater (PIE) is an optional $40 add-on you choose when you book. Airport parking is passed through at cost: Tampa International (TPA) up to $22, St. Pete-Clearwater International (PIE) up to $25, never more. Exact handoff details are emailed to you after your booking is confirmed.
Are there any other fees?
No. No booking or service fees. You pay the rental, Florida sales tax and the Florida state rental car surcharge ($2/day, required by state law, F.S. 212.0606). Florida sales tax follows where you get the car: 7% for home pickup in Trinity (Pasco County) or delivery to PIE (Pinellas County), 7.5% for delivery to TPA (Hillsborough County). The surcharge is charged by the State of Florida, not by WhiteCap Rides: $2 per rental day (2-day minimum) and is taxed too. The refundable $150 deposit is a hold, not a fee. Tolls are passed through at cost only. You’ll never be charged more than the receipt.

200 miles per day are included. Extra miles are $0.29 each, or you can add unlimited mileage for $20 per day.
Can I smoke or vape in the car?
No. Smoking and vaping are strictly banned in all of our cars. If a car smells of smoke, a $150 cleaning fee applies. That is close to the actual cost of professional cleaning, so it simply covers getting the car ready for the next guest.
What if my flight is delayed or lands late?
No problem. Pickup is available 24/7 with our lockbox. Just email us if your plans change.
Can I change or cancel my trip?
Email us to change a trip. Cancellations follow the cancellation terms shown at checkout and in your rental agreement.
Who do I contact during my trip?
Email us at whitecaprides@gmail.com for anything about an active trip. If anyone is hurt or in danger, contact emergency services first.
